20 years strong

Twenty years of investors helping investors.

The Richmond RING is Richmond's Real Estate Investor Networking Group, and the name is the whole mission statement. Around 100 investors, one room, every single month, for two decades.

The story

Grown the slow way.

The RING has been meeting for 20 years. No franchise, no national brand behind it, no launch party. Just a good room, every month, where new investors learn and experienced ones do business.

That is still the entire formula. The market update, a real lesson, and a room full of people who answer the phone when a deal gets complicated. Groups grew up around it over the years, for landlords, for beginners, for breakfast, but the second Wednesday is still the front door.

The host

Rich Lennon holds the microphone.

Ten years hosting

An investor first.

Rich has run the RING for the last ten of its twenty years. He has invested in Richmond since 2011 and spent a decade buying and renovating houses here, sometimes several in a month, before he ever held the microphone.

The style

Teaches from what he has done.

Not from a course he bought. The lessons come with real numbers from real Richmond deals, and when he does not know, he says so and finds someone in the room who does.

Just as important

What RING is not.

  • Not a bootcamp. Nobody is selling you a program from the front of the room.
  • Not a pitch fest. Come as you are, network as hard or as little as you want.
  • Not a guru stage. The teaching comes from people doing deals in this market.
The house rule

Nobody sells in this room unless they sponsor.

The proof

This is a second Wednesday.

The door is open: your first visit is free. Twenty years in, the room still sells itself better than any page about it can.
